Welcome

Welcome to the Mott/Regent School District. We are located in the southwestern part of North Dakota, right in the middle of pheasant country. The Mott/Regent School District is made up of the towns of Mott and Regent. They are located approximately 16 miles apart. Grades K-12 are housed at the Mott site. There are approximately 242 students in the school district.

Mission Statement
Mott/Regent Public School will promote learning for all people in a positive, caring atmosphere.

Philosophy
Mott/Regent Public School exists to provide for the educational needs of the people of the district. In addition to educating the students' intellect, we also strive to address their self-esteem and their individual talents. The school will provide to the best of its ability, for the special needs of individual students.

BLACKOUT BULLYING

A Blackout Bullying balloon was found in Stevens Point, Wisconsin, which is about 425 miles east of Minneapolis. It belonged to Chad Mosbrucker.

HANDWRITING CONTEST WINNERS

State winners at their grade level in the Zaner-Bloser Handwriting Contest were Alaina, Grade 2; Jordan, Grade 3; Sydnee, Grade 4; Regan, Grade 5; and Travis, Grade 8. Travis has also been named the National winner at the eighth grade level. KX news will be running a story about Travis on Sunday, May 6, during the 9:00 PM (MDT) news. MESSAGE TO PARENTS

The Hettinger County Sheriff's Office would like to remind the parents and guardians of the community that now that the weather is turning for the better, that you remind your kids of the importance of not talking to, going with, or accepting anything from anyone that they may not know. Remind your children that they should inform you immediately if anyone does approach them or try to lure them in any way. We also ask that if anything of this nature does occur that you inform our office or call 911 immediately.
